Our success story
MarTankShip is a private group, founded in Bulgaria in 2018. Over the last 5 years, the company has grown to a prominent position in the European landscape, distinguishing itself as a major player in the trade of petroleum products and their variants.
Through unwavering commitment and a clear business vision, MarTankShip has been able to gain an industry leading role in import and export.
MarTankShip has developed its core business as a petroleum products’ trader by acquiring storage spaces at coastal oil terminals and then reselling the products to the local internal market.
Our future
MarTankShip Group, following the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, integrates its core business with activities and investments in the renewable energy sector. Among these, more attention is dedicated to solar energy, as well as to the production and/or distribution of biofuels.
The MarTankShip Group has particular interest in a very high quality biofuel – known as HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) – which is produced 100% with renewable and sustainable raw materials.
This fuel represents a valid alternative to diesel, significantly contributing to the decarbonization of the heavy transport sector and mobility in general. HVO is a renewable diesel fuel that can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90%, facilitating the transition to zero emissions. HVO is compatible with most of the latest generation diesel engines and can also be used in industrial machinery. This fuel is particularly suitable for hauliers who manage fleets in compliance with current regulations, but also for motorists who wish to reduce the environmental impact of their vehicle.
